The Hague India Month

Will we have an Indian Summer after all?
October 2011 is India Month in The Hague! A number of organisations in the Hague joined forces and organized The Hague India Month full of cultural activities, like the International India Dance Festival and Diwali. During this month, the Gandhi centre, Centre for Indian Culture, will open its doors and also the Indian Film Festival The Hague 2011 will take place. Especially for this month, Kosmopolis Den Haag invited Indian textile artist Rakhi Peswani to the city as an artist in residence. Her work will travel past various festival locations and grow as the month continues. "Haagse India Maand" is initiated by Kosmopolis Den Haag, Korzo en Sarnamihuis.
